S U M M E R M O U N T A I N S E R I E S
I've always wanted to create a series that revolves around the majestic mountains and rock formations of Hawaii. Whenever I look at them, their power and beauty fills my heart. After the first few pieces, I found myself in such a groove where the paintbrush was fluidly gliding on the wood with rhythm. As an Artist, you kind of dream about this type of creative momentum and it's not something that's easily switched off! It made for a lot of very long, but happy days in the studio, and generated a huge collection consisting of 27 paintings. I was not sure what they were going to look like when I started, but I trusted my mind, heart and hands to do the work. The whole process felt very organic and freeing, and created a lot of unique pieces and interpretations. Each one is named after the feelings they evoke.
The originals have all sold, but most of them are available as prints in my SHOP. If you see one here that isn’t in the shop, email me! I am happy to print them for you.
